Idiots love Facebook.
They love to post the minutiae of their meaningless little lives. They love to post the drama that dominates their days, and the naughtiness that consumes their nights. But most of all, they like to post the incriminating evidence that ultimately will be their undoing.
Just ask these two nitwits from North Carolina.
Michaela Mary-Elizabeth Pearson, 21, and Candice Jasmine Little, 18, both of Winston-Salem, NC, got busted for being a bit too giving.
Winston-Salem is a town that made its fortune on the backs of tobacco smokers the world over, but these two were smoking something else when they got the bright idea to share their stash with the young children that they were babysitting.
So share they did, getting an 18-month-old, a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old nice and blunted, because nothing screams “responsible babysitter” like returning the kids you have been watching higher than they were when you got them.
All that “being responsible” bullshit apparently wasn’t enough to fill their daily stupidity quotient, though, so they posted the illegal infant inhales on Facebook for all the world to see.
Including people who know their simple asses. And the kids.
Local media and the Winston-Salem Police Department received numerous notifications of the nefarious video, and police lost no time locating the Dynamic Duo at a local motel, always the preferred crashpad for purveyors of suspicious behavior across this great land.
Both were summarily arrested and charged with “felony child abuse causing serious bodily injury and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.” Bond was set at $100,000 each, or $200,000 for the pair. What a bargain!
The arrest proved to be a combo-platter for the police, who also apprehended Christopher Daquan Nettles, 20, on an outstanding warrant for resisting an officer. Like a box of chocolates, life is.
The kids got a visit to a local hospital for observation and a nifty new Child Protective Services investigation.
It turns out that these two idiots are friends of the children’s mother, who made the mistake of trusting them further than she could spit a rat. The mother did not want her name used, as she has apparently been the subject of death threats.
Now I know that wasn’t any of you fine folks, was it?
